You are slacking if you have not heard of Electro House. This is probably the most heard form of house.
It has hit all of the clubs all around the globe.
In less than ten years it is the only dance style music that reached the same popularity as of 1970's old school (at this point) disco. Nothing can overwrite this history.
Actually, that was that time and in the present we are making history with every moment. Recently, there has been a big hype for editing television ads with electro house music. Even on xm radio Electro House has it's own chosen station.
More and more remixes of hip hop songs hit the clubs after they've been remixed with this style. So where did it all begin? Most of the time, it is nearly impossible to find out who is directly responsible the creating of music history. Everyone wants to claim the fame, but no one can be certain.
It is noted that about ten years ago there was a large revolutionary time in electro music being mixed with pop. At the same time tech house was gaining popularity. With the right things happening at the right times, the two came together. Even though there probably had been many other artist experimenting with this genre, the first artist that hit big time with Electro House had to be Benny Benassi. Mixing both electroclash and tech house he was able to create music that moved people. The song was both melodic and catchy and that's one reason why it received so much attention. It won world wide rewards as well as make Benny Benassi the father of Electro House. No wonder that after this single was out many even more artist came out mimicking this style.
